The Institute was formed to bridge the training gap between government agencies and the private sector. No other private organization in Utah possesses our expertise. We are a duly registered and approved firm with the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Professional Licensing.

OUR LOGO

Our logo represents the heritage of our founders and instructors. The shield shape represents the FLASH or patch worn on the berets of military special operations personnel. The helmet represents protection as worn by the Knights of old. The Griffins are mythical creatures who legend holds were fiercely protective of their domain. The stars and stripes are a symbolic representation of our country's flag. The crossed pistols represent close protection as well as our military police heritage. The martial arts YIN and YANG symbol represents personal protection training. The lightning bolts represent the three areas of operation: AIR, LAND, and SEA.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Counterterrorism Institute of America is to train and prepare the American public, private security forces, and law enforcement to protect themselves from acts of terrorism and violent crime.
Our instructors hold many decades of experience between them. They are highly motivated experts with backgrounds in military special operations, dignitary protection and law enforcement. We are dedicated to providing the American public with the highest level of training available outside of the government agencies and the military.

Welcome to the CounterTerrorism Institute of America. Our new training schedule has just been posted on the web site. The 2010 will be one of our most aggressive training schedules yet. We have more classes, more often and in more locations. In addition we have an amazing new training venue. We will be bring courses to the outstanding Urban Warfare Center (www.urbanwarfarecenter.com) in N. Salt Lake City,UT. This is an amazing level of training which is available to very few private citizens. We train the very novice to the most advanced student. No matter what level you are at, we can help you become prepared and skilled in any area we offer.

We will be incorporating new force on force training into several courses. Several new courses are coming as well, including:

• Armed Intruder Intervention
• Precision Tactical Rifle
• Tactical Concealed Carry
