Urban Shotgun / Handgun

The shotgun is undoubtedly the most devastating of all hand held per-sonal weapons. It is also the most versatile. More Americans own shot-guns than any other type of weapon. This intense, 1-day course is de-signed to bring the average shooter to a strong level of defensive compe-tence FAST.

This is an all shooting class, encompassing the following top-ics:

• Learning how a shotgun ‘patterns’
• Selecting proper defensive shotgun ammunition
• Selecting shotgun accessories
• Firing from unusual positions
• Firing on the move
• Firing from positions of cover
• Firing with either hand
• Changing loads
• Clearing malfunctions/stoppages
• Transitioning to the handgun

Course Instructors- Nationally certified with the NRA or Utah POST or military special operations.

Equipment needed- Any multi shot weapon (double barrel) of any gauge. An ASSAULT type weapon is NOT required to attend. A handgun and strong side holster will also be needed. Complete gear/ammo list pro-vided upon registration.
